In the field of electronics industry, only those with the best technologies can survive. Sunny Electronics Affiliated Research Institute was established in 1986 with capable researchers and advanced laboratory to focus on crystals. It has been
conducting various researches to compete with the world and to pursue maximum customer satisfaction. At Korea’ s
largest research institute and best laboratory for the entire process, Sunny’ s outstanding researchers are dedicated to
developing advanced technologies and conducting multifaceted researches on the trends of electronics industry and
products and on the improvement of product performances and process. By doing so, they are developing
world-class parts.

X-TAL part

Based on the BLANK technology, we are developing smaller/micro units
for slimmer devices and low-power IC so that these units can operate
stably with lower power supply to generate CLOCK in home appliances,
national security, and communications..

APPLIED part

We are developing OSCILLATOR, VCXO, and TCXO for new-generation
HDTV and PDP, as well as ADSL, MODEL, TERMINAL, and HANDPHONE
that are required to be smaller in size, more precise, and support higher
frequencies..

SMD part

We are developing ceramic package type for smaller OSCILLATOR and
VCXO that are used for camcorders, digital cameras, ADSL, and printers
using surface mount technology (SMD).

DESIGN part

Automated facilities are essential for better productivity and quality. We
are developing processes for effective operation of facilities and high-
precise tools and equipment.

LABORATORY

We are supporting basic experiments and data for researchers' various
researches on new product development or quality improvement through process improvement.
